Patch Kit: How To Repair

Identify the repair as smaller, so there's no tear or missing fabric. Turn the garment inside out and centre one white patch over the entire repair, shiny side down. Cover the white patch with a piece of scrap fabric and iron on high heat (polyester setting). Remove the iron and if the patch isn’t fully attached, reapply heat. All done!
If there's a rip or missing fabric, we consider this to be a larger repair. Choose a fabric patch that covers the entire damaged area, with extra around the edges to fold under.
Fold and iron the raw edges of the fabric patch on high heat (polyester setting).
Sew the fabric patch onto the outside of the garment, using a sewing machine. Stitch close to the edge of the patch, so it catches the fabric that’s folded under. Clip all the loose threads, once you've finished.
Once the outside fabric patch is complete, turn the garment inside out. Centre one white patch over the entire repair with the shiny side down. Cover the white patch with a piece of scrap fabric and iron on high heat (polyester setting). Remove the iron and if the patch isn’t fully attached, reapply heat. All done!
